Last week was a pretty big week. I finally graduated on Tuesday and then relocated, with my little family, to California on Thursday!

I’m determined to keep up the running but will be having a few days off to deal with the jet lag (it always hits me hard). However, where we are currently living, there is an on-site gym so until I get to know the local area a bit better, I think I’ll give the treadmill a go. So, I wondered if any of you had any hints or tips for a treadmill newbie?

I used to call a treadmill a DREADMILL, but since I was on one for my gait analysis I call it by its proper name, use it if the temperature is too hot.

Congratulations, both on graduating and on surviving the move!

I'm a treadmill jogger. I don't actually enjoy running -- I just enjoy being able to run -- so a treadmill meets my needs. Listening to music or watching a show on my tablet keeps me interested. Lately I've been catching up on Brooklyn Nine-Nine...

Best of luck and keep us posted!

I actually don't mind running on a treadmill.. Views aren't as great but you get the same feeling after a run! My advice would be put in on 1% incline... 🏃‍♀️ Good luck with the jet lag!
