Oh not feeling so naff now!!! Headache gone, naffness gone, W2R1 gone!
Extended my warm up walk to try and counter-act the “toxic ten”/uphill part of my run. Definitely felt better in that my second run was a good bit better than second runs were last week - not sure if that’s because it was on the flat, because I warmed up for longer or because I’m fitter - perhaps all three.
Had a bit of a wobble in the middle of the run because my ear phones became unplugged and then I had to get them back in whilst trying to climb over a wall and carry on running. Then I was walking and the bell went and I turned round and started running rather than carrying on walking. Pretty sure I ran more than I ought to rather than less and I just adjusted the run a bit.
Think I might adjust the warm up completely to be the uphill bit and then just run on the flat.
Feeling very pleased with myself tonight.
