Did W4R2 this morning, I’m finding this week really hard. Suffering with a stitch and just not enjoying it as much. Anyone else finding this week hard ? X

Think you just need to slow down even more which will help you run better and prevent you getting a stitch. Well done 😊

Well done.

If it is hard there is a simple answer.........slow down.

You should be able to speak aloud clear ungasping sentences as you run, as detailed in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I found week 4 tough going too. But keep going, in my experience week 5 has been much better! 😊

Learning to run slowly will really help. My first breakthrough was learning that my brisk walk could be faster than my run. And then in w6 I found this -

Japanese slow jogging technique - I still run this way all the time because I love it! It’s low impact easy pace and I get all the benefits of running without the pain! I’ve lost over 5 inches from my waist so it definitely works! There’s more to it than just slow so worth watching a few times to catch it all. Hope this helps x
