Difference between how you feel and what Strava says

Just come back from week 7/2 which felt really hard - probably the hardest so far. It felt really slow, legs like lead weights, breathing all over the place. (The only good thing was the podcast. I found a store of 30 minute documentaries on the BBC radio iplayer & listened to one about the Gorbals Vampire!)

Looking at Strava though, my pace was faster than the last one and the second fastest pace since I started the programme. So it seems as though how you feel you’re doing is different to how you’re actually doing. My diagnosis is it’s the weather: it’s too hot for me even going out at 8:30 in the morning. But I’m glad it’s over.

Well done TRH - I did my w7r2 this morning too. And it was hot wasn’t it?! I like the idea of the podcast - might have to check that out as a change from music! Good luck with run 3!
