Want to begin the couch to 5k program and also a strength training program. Should I run after I lift? Or wait a day, then run on what would be my rest day from weights?

Well, yesterday I would have gone different days, and indeed I was... then I read this runnersworld.com/health-inj...
So, today I’m thinking run and upper body work one day, rest day, run and leg strengthening, rest day.
I’m trying the new routine this week, so I don’t know yet.
I think it might depend on the length of your runs. I use to do both on the same day but then once I got into long run territory I found I didn’t have the energy for both and ended up for a doze on the sofa instead!
I now do weights on my rest days but I guess it depends what works for you. When I did both on the same day I use to do cardio first and weights after but a PT told me I should do the weights first because I was wanting to build strength. If you want to focus on cardio then do the run first.
