Quick message to anyone starting C25k. Week 1 is hard. But doable.

I am hoping to run my graduate run this afternoon ( crossing fingers) so I know I can run for 30 mins. My teen daughter asked if she could start running so joined her in week 1 run 1. Wow what a struggle that run was to complete. It really really was tough for us. Such a red face. I think it’s the stopping and starting.

The plan really does work, I now trust it completely. The best advice someone gave me was if you can run for 1 minute you can run 2, run for 3 you can do 5 etc etc etc.
