W8r3 - that’s me only gone and done it

I’ve completed w8r3! Very slow - 3.8km - now To spend my next three runs trying to crack 5k before my graduation park run with the other local C25K-ers. 😄😎🏃‍♀️

Well done on finishing week 8

My advice is to not try and get to 5k in week 9, the programme is more about running 30 mins. Get week 9 out of the way, consolidate, then work on your distance. There's no point risking injury when most people don't do 5k in the 9 weeks.

There's a poll off to the right (if you're on a pc) or below (or above) somewhere on phone, that shows roughly 85 % don't reach 5k bybthe end of week 9 but they do run for 30 mins

Enjoy the running for the duration, plenty of time to worry about distance.

Well done. And like others say, don't worry about the distance. You're getting further than I am, and I just graduated. Finish the programme safely and enjoy it.
