Knees update....

So 2 weeks ago tomorrow, I got agonising k de pain at the end of my W1R3 and posted on here. I tried all the RICE stuff and no better.

Went to my Doctors on Tuesday who suspects the running finally displaced the last remaining bits of cartilage I had left hence the agonising pain now (bone on bone scraping - both knees. Yayyyy me! 😤).

I have a MRI booked for next Friday and then we will decide the way forward. Absolutely gutted as was enjoying running and was supposed to be doing a charity 5K on 20 July.

oh no, that's very upsetting for you. Do you think they'll do an arthoscopy to remove the cartilage? If so what would the waiting list be like... it is a minor op, and recovery is quick... although July 5K might be a bit optimistic.

Wishing you a simple and quick solution, and hopefully a return to running in due course.

Best to know what is what.. and the MRI scan will tell all....I had one last year Fingers crossed for you...
