C25k is an amazing plan and really can get you running good luck 😊
I'm in the same boat as you. I started C25K in 1st March and I'd lost about 2 stone then. Now lost a total of 3.5 stone. The program is fab and I can now run for 30 minutes, I'm planning my graduation run on Thursday afternoon! I still can't believe that a few weeks ago I was find a minute trying!
Amazing achievement! Can I ask if you don’t mind have you lost the additional weight from running the C25K app or have you been doing other things as well? I’m trying to lose weight and so far it appears my wrists have thinned slightly as my watch is now loose 🤦♀️
I've been following Slimming world since November so lost the weight in 6 months. Running will have helped but it was more about the fitness and being overall healthy, not just lighter. I think the running has helped tone me and improve my shape, but more than that I really enjoy it and I feel good!
Welcome to the forum. I started 7 weeks ago have lost 10 lbs and today I run for 28mins. Its an amazing plan. Good luck. All the inspiration you need you can get on here.
Well done to you for loosing weight and dl the ct5k you will smash it. Don’t get me wrong it’s hard but my first run was 60sec and it killed me but now I’m on W7R3 and it’s a 25min run. and I was over weight unhealthy now I’ve lost weight fitter and happier so if I can you can because you already look like a runner. Tips stretching before and after running a must hydrate before during and after running and if you are fatigued slow down it’s not a race and plus your doing much more than the person sat on the couch so welcome and enjoy it 😉🏃🏼♂️
You’ve chosen a superb way to do it!! C25K is a minor blooming miracle! All you have to do is trust the plan - the biggest obstacles are in our minds. I found it best not to look too far ahead! Just revel in each success and tell yourself you can do it. And if I can anyone can! My personal tips. Your brisk walk can be faster than your run! And if you need to as the durations increase you can learn to run slowly. I run using this Japanese slow jogging technique

I still run this way all the time and absolutely love it. Some people have this technique in their back pockets and it helps them to complete a run they’re struggling with. The thing to remember about c25k is that it’s really about learning to run for 30 minutes - the actual 5k often comes later - just focus on completing each run - however slowly!
