Knee pain

I’ve reached week 4 of C25k, weeks 1 and 2 went by fine, the runs were tiring but I felt good after them and had no aches or pains throughout each week.

Week 3 came and the first 3min run was hard work but I managed well and completed the run. I paced myself slower on 2nd run of the week and felt I had “more in the tank” afterwards. After the 3rd run of the week which was fine I noticed slightly achey knees that became more painful towards the end of the day. I rested over the weekend and skipped my first run of week 4 on Monday. Today I went out and I repeated a week 3 run and my knees felt fine during. But now are painful. My knees don’t hurt all the time, just feel a little tired, but if I move after sitting Still for a while they ache quite badly and I’m finding it painful to kneel.

Wondering is anyone else has experienced this and how to overcome it.
