Hiya. Just started week 4 and getting pain in my ankles. Shall I just keep running or take extra rest days until they don't ache anymore?

I have running shoes and running socks. I run on soft muddy ground. Fields, towpaths etc. Other than that I'm really enjoying this running malarky!

You are the best judge of your own body. Aches and niggles are normal at this stage. Pain is a warning. Don't try and run through pain.

Extra rest days may be needed. Best not to run in pain.
