Remembering the ‘rules’

Having a few days away in lovely Switzerland (sadly no snow yet). I was determined to keep up my every other day post grad 30 mins. Friday dawned and I set off with what turned out to be a very disappointing struggle. So this morning dawned wet and grey and my bed was sooo comfortable and I almost decided to turn over go back to sleep and pick up running when I get back home. And then the memory of a comment on this site hit me - the only run you fail is the one you don’t do! So I dragged myself out and had a really lovely run. Followed by a 5 mile walk with my friends dogs. No sitting watching the rain having a nice cup of tea and feel great. There is magic in this programme if you keep listening to its messages. Good running all

Great job... while a holiday and a break from running can be great, there’s nothing greater than completing the “don’t want to run” run and actually enjoying it.
