When I’m running I find if I run at a slower pace, I get a really bad burning sensation in my calf’s. but if I run at a quicker pace it doesn’t seem to burn so much but makes it harder to breathe. Only on run 2 of week 1 but I think I’m going to repeat this week as not fully confident I’m 100% comfortable to move onto running for longer yet

Burning calf’s!
Welcome. When you slow down is your footfall changing? Almost sounds like you’re going onto your toes... I could be wrong, but that would work the calf muscles harder.
Great job so far... if you’re completing the runs there’s no need to repeat... but it’s your journey.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and it explains the recommended easy conversational pace.
Most new runner's aches and pains are caused by the impact of running so do all you can to minimise the impact. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
Stretch after every run as linked to in the guide.
Enjoy your journey.
