A 20' run can help a lot

I spent a week with many problems with my elderly mother and a lot of work in the office. I could't run. This morning I had a lot of commitments with my family but I thought I NEEDED to run, even if I had little time and I felt tired.

A 20 ' run and the hope of being able to avoid being overwhelmed is back 😊

Thinking of you helped me get out of the house 🤗

Sometimes just getting out for a run is the tonic we need. It’s a great way of taking your mind off things. Well done for getting out there 👏👏

I read bbc article you suggested. Thank you. This is me: " For me, the hardest part of running is getting my trainers on and leaving the house".

I’m glad you found it useful. You have done great to complete the programme and for continuing running 😁

After a hectic day at work the best thing for me is to go out for a run

Hi Lallis, I just stumbled upon this post and hit the ‘love’ button instantly!! I could have copied and pasted every word you had written....I have also recently graduated and was slightly worried that with everything going on, elderly mother just broken her arm, grandma duties, etc.. how was I ever going to fit a run in this morning??.. don’t know how I did it but something within me told me that I needed to get out of bed, climb into my running stuff and go....honestly, that run was ‘my time’ and set me up to face the rest of the day.

Hi lah30f, yes, we are not alone and the run in the morning, even short, helps the mind too

Have a nice weekend 🤗
