No. Just don't be tempted to run faster than is comfortable. I've just finished Week 9 and have been happily 'running' at the speed that suits me. Nowhere near doing 5k in 30 mins but I can keep going non stop which is an achievement. And I started from not being able to run for the bus without getting puffed out. Good luck in your adventure!

No, is the answer. You’ll probably manage no problem, but it’s not a failure if you don’t. There’s a reason why this programme has a repeat facility: some steps may need to be taken in instalments. Watch some time lapse film of a flower opening and you’ll see it doesn’t happen in a continuous movement. You will do this ! Just respect your legs and lungs and take it at the rate that’s right for you. Enjoy your journey x

No! I'm a little ahead of you and none of my fears were justified nor will yours be.

There is no need to be worried about any run in the process.

This post might put it in perspective for you healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it is full of tips.

Hi mjohn! Nope no need to worry at all. It’s easy to say have faith in the program but I think most people only develop that for real at w5r3. I know before that I feared each new week and each new run. But you should remember you have been working and building your body for 3 weeks, your body is prepared. Approaching it you will have to slay the psychological gremlins that still try to make you think it’s week 1 run 1 all over again and that it’s insurmountable. But you will conquer week four just as you have every other week so far 😀
