Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

The mental health benefits of running were a staggering eye opener for me........ I was grinning for months.

Enjoy your journey.

I graduated this week and as a confirmed non runner historically I have amazed myself. Don't miss a step, follow the plan, take the rest days and one more if you ache and guess what - you will do it! Its a great app and it really does work! Good luck.

Welcome.

Depending on how much weight you’re looking to shift, you will almost certainly need to pair this with a good nutritional plan. The Weight Loss NHS forum on this server is the best place there is for help and advice with that, so go and say hi there too if looking to lose more than a stone.

Endorphins will be released during every session, and the dose you get will grow as the running does. So you’ll be getting what you need there pretty soon. My daughter used to get them from eating chocolate, I can’t remember the last time she asked for any, she’s a really happy and confident girl since we did this plan. She’s smaller too!

You can do this plan. Post here lots... if you don’t complete a run you’ll be disappointed, come and talk to us, we will pick you up. When you complete a run tell us about it, we will celebrate each victory on your journey with you.

Enjoy your journey and be prepared to amaze yourself often.
