Feeling good. On my last scheduled run a PB at 35 mins dead. Last 5 weeks I’ve carried a heavy chest cold but continued through it. Today at least I could take on some decent breaths through my nose!! Thanks to Michael for being there. Thanks to fellow Couchers for their enthusiastic support. And to those on the way keep going. 9 weeks ago aged 64 I weighed 98kgs and couldn’t really put 100m together let alone 5000. It’s in the head as much as the body. Best of luck. Me.....I’m going to try a park run.

Well done. FYI though the usual advice is not to run with a chest cold, though you can run with a head cold if you feel up to it.

I agree with Arthurjg. Just happens at a talk last week it was explained you are "ill with a chest cold" but not with a head cold. Be careful especially the older you get.
