Morning, well I graduated back in the summer with the soul intention of getting fit before my Miral Value sugery which went well. 4 weeks in and walking 5 miles a day. Just wonder if any one else is out there going through a similar situation. Hopefully I’ll re-do C25k again soon then hopefully 10k next summer.

Wow! Glad you are on the mend. All your prep must have put you in a good place for your op.

I am 4 weeks post emergency heart valve repair surgery due to infective endocarditis. I am 24 years old so imaginably this all a big shock! I was just wondering if you would be able to tell me what your scar looked like at this stage? I’ve been advised to keep the dressings on, however the top and bottom still have black (I assume dry blood) bumps over where the scar is and there are little bits on the main part of the scar. Is this normal at this stage?

Thanks
