First week great second week got a ruddy cold! Flop

I thought to myself go for it did the first three sets but had to stop and walk home as heaviness on my chest the colds won me but at least I went out. What are other people’s hacks do u go back a week rest or crack on and repeat the week ?

Great job getting out there... better job aborting... if a cold is on your chest it’s gonna suck, it’s gonna hurt, it’s probably not going to be a complete run. You will lose no fitness for two weeks... rest and when you’re feeling better go nice and slow into the run you just tried.

Rest up and get the chest cleared, never run when the colds at the throat and below, if it's above with just some sniffles then you can if feeling ok. When recovered then crack on, upto about 2 weeks off and should be ok to resume without having lost any fitness, you could at first when starting back do a good walk and ease back into it..

When you're feeling well enough to walk briskly without hacking up a lung that might help you scratch that itch to get out there without setting yourself back. Hope you're feeling well again soon!
