4km in 30 mins ! 😀
Did my first 30 minute run today: 4km in 30 mins... - Couch to 5K
Did my first 30 minute run today
Very good!😃👍
Don’t go mad though. New runners legs need slowly building up, so take things steady. You’ve plenty of time. No rush 🙂
I wasn’t trying for speed or distance job st a 30 minute run !
*just a 30 minute run*
Only! It’s amazing. When you think in a few short weeks how far you’ve come and what you’ve achieved. Well done 🙂👍
I can’t believe that just over 7 weeks ago I had never been out for a run and now, every little step is another milestone that gives me a buzz to want to carry on. Love it !
I know it’s crazy. It proves what our bodies can learn to do. we just have to believe we can do these things, do the training, and we see a new us emerging before our very eyes
This programme is a launch pad to a whole new world of running. We only have to keep plugging slowly away to get where we want to go. It’s fun! Who knew 😁
You are spot on. All of us can achieve our goals if we listen, learn and take things slowly. If it wasn’t for this programme there is no way I would have maintained a regular exercise routine like this.
Me neither. Sky’s the limit though. Onward.
Slowly though. It’s all about leg building first which is from slow runs and rest days
You have options now 🤔 😃
Yes I was thinking on my run today that once this is cracked, for now I will do a 5k every Saturday and a few shorter runs during the week. I don’t get time before work to run so run in the evenings but now the nights are drawing in, my midweek sessions will be on the treadmill at the gym with a bit of elliptical training and swimming too.
Superb job Mike. 2 more runs and glory!
Awesome! Nice work!
Fantastic! Well done.
Nice work indeed!! Well done you!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️
Me too!! - I'm feeling pretty good right now... the aches will probably set in later lol ; ))
I am amazed at both how far I've come since those first walk/runs, and that I'm actually enjoying it so much. All credit to the programme and the encouragement from reading the forum too. Well done you, and enjoy your next steps.
My aches set in yesterday evening but a nice hot bath seemed to help. First time I have felt it in my glutes and around my hips. Shall leave it a couple of days before next run.
