Injured week 8, how do I keep my fitness up?

I have done something to my ankle in week 8 and I am absolutely gutted. I have left it for 2 weeks now and it is still a niggle so I would like to know what I can do to keep up my fitness gains 😩 Otherwise I am quite upset about having to start again. I was really enjoying running! I can’t really swim well enough to keep it going for long enough...

If it doesn’t heal get some advise from a doctor. It is better to wait until it is healed before running again. Starting back before it’s ready tends to cause longer injury time. I know it is hard. I twisted mine missing a step, I didn’t lose as much fitness as I thought. You will be back out there again. Take care and speedy recovery. Rfc x.
