At 67yrs young am attempting the 9 wk programme. I am overweight and never done exercise although I did attend yoga class weekly until recently. I have completed the first week but have got slower each time. Any tips or is it just persevere?

Slower is the way to survive this... I mean get though this! That’s good, stay slow. Hydration is super important, sip water all day every day. Yoga will help. Maybe pick up some other core work... there’s you tube and free fitness apps that will help. Try to do something on every non running day that helps your running. Walk lots.
Weight and age are not barriers for this. You can do it.
An admin will be along soon with some links... read everything and you’ll have everything you need to do this.

Hi and welcome! You've completed week 1 - that’s awesome! It's the hardest week of the programme and a real shock for your body, so yes, it’s a struggle for most people. But you did it. With Couch to 5k speed doesn’t matter at all, so don’t worry about being slow. In fact, the most frequent bit of advice you'll see on here is 'slow down'! Good luck with week 2, and keep coming back here with your progress reports 😀👍👏
