W6R2 Getting Better! A Question.....

Set off as usual nice and early, lots cooler thanks to the ☔️. Maybe that’s the reason that my split times are about 30 secs better.....yay!!! Or could it be I’m getting a little fitter each time I go out ?

Whoever’s running this weekend enjoy yourselves! The cooler weather should suit all of us, & to those of you on the IC, it must be so frustrating but be patient....your time will come🏃‍♂️

Can anyone explain how running shorter distances with walking 🚶‍♂️ in between, “consolidates” longer distances with no walking?

Last week I ran the full 20 mins non stop then this week back to shorter 10min runs with short walks, how do these runs this week consolidate last weeks runs?......Thanks

High temperatures make it more difficult so you will find the cooler temperatures helpful. You're also improving fitness and stamina with every run you do. The program is designed to be progressive so there's the occasional stretch followed by consolidation. Good luck and keep going!
