W6R2 done after nasty horsefly bite 😳

Very pleased to be back running after 11 whole days of pain and swollen foot. Could hardly weight-bear at first and then it just got worse! After lots of antihistamines, an assortment of creams and painkillers - it's almost gone.

I've done this run twice this week to ease myself in gently and am pleasantly surprised to feel that I haven't completely lost it!

Any tips to deter future midges and biting critters?

I find running works for me, they only get me when I stand still or walk.

Glad you are over the horsefly bite, I hear that a bee sting is preferable.

Good luck from one mummy to another!
