Am up to week 5 run 1 but have also started playing cricket again. This has left me with some severe muscle pain days after the match - this week appears to be top of thigh and hip. I did a run on Friday then played Saturday which seems to be a big mistake. I want to keep doing both and getting fitter but it’s a bit demoralising struggling to even get in the car. Should I just try to run through it and treat the cricket like another run day? I really want to run today but sense the muscles aren’t keen.
