I’ve broken in to week 8

Run one week 8 just completed on treadmill. My treadmill is in my garage so I think I’ve sweated off about a litre!!

I can’t believe I’ve just run non stop for 28 mins. So far I’ve not had to re do any runs and I’m feeling like with five runs to graduate C25K I can do it. It’s been a case of mind over matter mostly but I feel so great that I’m fit enough to do it.

Good tip on the treadmill for belt speed setting,

as well as your slow and steady happy pace,

the belt speed should feel as if your legs are pulling the belt back and not the belt pulling your legs back🤔

This reduces any tendency to overstride and therefore reduces your injury risk.👍

Well done. I absolutely recognise that “mind over matter” aspect. W8R2 today for me and it was exactly that. And I don’t know if I sweated a litre but I certainly sweated a kilogram. Where’s a scientist when you need one?
