It's week 9 already! Running for 30 minutes straight!

Hello all the lovely people on this forum!

I've been too busy to post (I've had lost of short deadlines to keep up with) for a while, but just an hour ago I ran my first "30 minutes running non-stop" run! I am so impressed with myself for sticking to it, even though this running business was and is hard work.

I had a really great run in week 8, and then I had a "bad" run in week 8, but other that that things have sort of settled down. The temperatures are rising here and I've taken to running later in the evenings, when it's cooler and the spouse can come with as well. I've finally gotten used to having him as my shadow on the runs and now I actually like having him with me.

I know technically it's graduation day after finishing the third run of this week, but it felt like I passed "GO" and collected my reward after the run today. Now I just need to stick to it and continue running a couple times a week.

Today's run was slow and steady as it was still fairly hot outside, and I didn't want to risk going out too strong and not being able to finish the run. I was a little sore from our hike in the forest the other day, but nothing too bad. I got a stitch in my side the last couple of minutes and my right leg went a little numb right about then as well, but it wasn't too bad, and it is perhaps my own fault a little since I didn't hydrate very well and have missed stretching out the legs for a couple of days.

Overall, I pretty pleased with today's run =)

Hope your runs are going great as well!

/Nene
