What am I doing wrong?

I’m not going fast or far enough to getting many aches & pains but for some reason the tops of my feet are really hurting. It feels like shin-splints but across the top of my ankle joint, has anyone else had this that can give me some advice? Am I running ‘wrong’ or is it just another thing to work through? Thanks!

What kind of shoes are you running in? Might be worthwhile going to a running shop to get a gait analysis and see if the right shoes fix the issue.

Either incorrect footwear, as suggested, or maybe your shoes are too tight across the top of your foot.......loosen the laces.

Thanks both - I’m wearing running trainers but they’re old (though hardly worn) so it might be worth shopping for some new ones suited to my current running style. Or I might just need to loosen my laces a bit next time...🤦🏼‍♀️
