Got an email from the Army last night to say I have been rejected on medical grounds. Not surprised as I'm blind as a bat!
My unit are going to appeal - don't panic I'll be in charge of a Clarinet not a gun - but I decided on my run this morning that I'm going to carry on even if I never get as far as the fitness test at Pirbright.
I cannot believe how much I am enjoying it as I always thought I hated running! I intend to train to run further once I've completed this (on week 5 at the mo) with my long term goal being to run a half marathon.
This programme is amazing!
Happy running everyone

I dunno how or why they let me in my Battalion many years ago tbph. A friend who was a Sgt. talked me into it and had to have called in a LOT of favors. Was it good or bad? I honestly can't say. Life would have been completely different if the Medics had done their job, that's all that can be assuredly said. 🙂
Life - it's either all sheer coincidence or....?
