Until they have been running for a long time.
The rest day is part of the plan, it allows your muscles to repair and build, and hopefully prevents injuries. 🛌🏃♀️

Yes... unless they have as @Jell6 says been running for a long time... the quickest way to the IC is by ignoring a rest day

Rest days are essential or I prefer to do more relaxed workout in rest days that allow blood to get to the sore areas and help heal the tears etc.
But if your a seasoned runner I think it would be ok

Rest days are essential for new runners.
Your muscles develop micro tears when you run, which repair and strengthen on your rest days. No rest, no repair, no strengthening and so increased injury risk.
You might get away with missing them in the early stages, but you will become a better runner by cross training on those rest days, rather than by running every day.

Yes unless you are a seasoned runner with many miles under the belt. Our Mo for example , he is bound to run daily, but he isnt a novice as we know 🏃🏻
