Hi there! It was going quite well following graduation - I was running 3 times a week, alternating speed and stamina podcasts to improve my speed and distance. However, I managed to do my back in 2 days ago (doing some gardening!), so now I'm on the IC, not even able to walk properly. I hope you and your lovely dog are enjoying the running. x

Morning. Goodness. Terrific on 3 a week. And I did a similar thing - gardening over the last weekend led to a very sore and stiff back !! But not incapacitated. Can you get to a masseuse or Pilates class near you? But youโ€™ll be back soon. Iโ€™ve used first SteppingStones podcast. I donโ€™t care for the music but Iโ€™m learning about pace and things. Iโ€™ll try others later. Did they help you? Keep well.

Something has gone in my back - it happens every so often and I just have to let it mend itself. Bit worried I will lose all my running fitness in the meantime.

I've used all 3 of the C25K+ podcasts - agree the music is terrible! The Stepping Stones one seemed weirdly slow. I've used the other 2 - Speed and Stamina - a few times and found them quite helpful. I've alternated them for a bit of variety. Still have a long way to go to improve my pace and stamina (if/when I recover from the back problem). Good luck with your running. x

Mend quickly. You wonโ€™t lose the fitness youโ€™ve gained. And if you do lose a bit, It will come back quickly I think
