I’m new, W1R1done tonight and felt good after doing it. Have been attending gym regularly since a couple of months but without much direction or really knowing what I wanted to achieve. I’m 57, never run in my life before ! stopped smoking nearly two years ago because grandchildren have come along and decided I should change my lifestyle because I would like to be around as long as possible to enjoy their company . C25K has given me some structure to my exercise and looking forward to the next 9 weeks, fingers crossed🤞I keep at it.

I did my first run 6 days ago just a tester really, thought I would start for real this week, did Monday and tonight, going for the Mon, Wed, Fri plan. Did Monday in a wood near my house , but very bad idea as far too hilly ,did manage it but it was really hard work, did tonight in the gym, it was a bit easier, hope Friday will be ok.
