So I am onto week 3 of C25K and managing OK. But I am running in walking shoes at present and feel I need something a bit more suited to the task. I am a big lad - 6 foot tall and 18 stone (though hoping to reduce this) and I usually run on canal banks and fields so mud is often an issue. Also, I don't want to spend a fortune - running is not my life! Any hints or suggestions?
