Wrong! Just all wrong!
I've never run in conditions like this before--the last time anyone tried to make me I hid in the changing rooms and played poker with the other brainboxes until it was all over.
The problem is it's not warm enough to have melted all the sludgy snow on the paths, but still warm enough to have turned the grass into a slushy mess that seeps into your shoes.
Nevertheless I decided that the grass would be safer which meant for a quite eccentric route with lots of doubling back when I found a "good bit". Later I was amazed to see people running sure-footedly along those slippery paths. How they do that?
In all the excitement I didn't have much time to think about the run itself, so that happened too.
