My legs have become really tight now, I keep getting cramp in my calves and quads. Is there anything I can do to make it better?

Warm up really well and stretches...

Stretch after every run and on rest days too. That's worked for me.

Yoga moves. Down dog that sorta thing.

Post run I finish always from home and walk briskly home. For bits of the journey I walk slowly backwards to stretch out my calves. Deliberate Foot placement so is quite slow

I found a good stretch routine online which I sometimes do while my music plays. It’s exagerated feet. It’ll have to find it

Those ones oldfloss gave you the link to are good. I do thigh, hamstring and calf every day. The calf one I just learned a new trick. Do it, then slightly bend your knee and the stretch moves down to the ankle.

Thank you for the advice, I’ve done a few stretches so far but my legs are so tight it’s agony, I’m in a lot of pain whenever I do something.

I think with refereeing, running twice, and being really busy it’s had a big impact!
