I may have missed this in the app but is there a recommended pace for the walk and run segments?

Hiya, there's no recommendation for pace. It's entirely up to you, you'll find over a short period of time what is comfortable for you. Over the course of the programme you'll find that your pace is likely to increase because your fitness and confidence will be much greater than at the outset. That's not important though, just doing it is a great achievement. I hope that helps, best of luck to you :0)

We all run at different paces and while learning to run and going through the program it is best to find what is comfortable for you. The only time it becomes relevant is if you are setting up a treadmill. If this is the case start off slow and gently increase the pace each run but make sure you always feel comfortable.

No there's not, just what is comfy for you, if you can't talk while running through being too puffed then you're running to fast, slow down a tad..😊

Some would say the only pace is ‘slow’ or is it ‘slow and the slow down some more’ 😂

As Realfoodieclub and davelinks and the other replies say.. your journey, your pace.. as long as it is slow and steady, in my book :)

For running, no, but for walking it should be brisk, which is of course open to interpretation.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm on week 4 and was starting to worry. I'll keep my geriatric trot going as is:)
