Hi Martin, I'll kick off! Yep, I'll be doing the Lowestoft Parkrun, the UKs most Easterly! May be a tad breezy on the coast! Good luck to everybody who is doing one too!

Have a great one mate.

Thanks mate, after cracking the 30 minute barrier last week I'll be testing the water to see if it was a fluke!

Might do Lowestoft one day as only in Norwich

Cool, I'm a Norwich chap, I now live in Beccles. Come and say hello as and when, it's on the promenade from the pier near the bridge. 👍

I'm in week 6 so not ready yet but I will do one day!

I'm hoping to brave one tomorrow! I'm on Week 8 run 3, I extended my cool down walk on run 2 so that I covered 5k in the session, it took me 41 minutes which I don't think is too shabby. I know, having looked at their results, I'll probably be last but I think I need to bite the bullet and go for it.

You should definitely give it a go, 41 mins is not shabby at all, the atmosphere will get you round. Enjoy.

I’ll be huffing and puffing my way around Navan Parkrun tomorrow morning. Will have my Music up loud so as I can’t hear the spluttering. If I can’t hear it, it’s not happening.😀

Exactly the tactic I employ although because our parkrun is so tricky with narrow paths, we're only allowed music in one ear - and no dogs :-(

I'm back on the injury couch (5 a side football did for me!), so I'm on tea and biscuits duty tomorrow.

I now have a warm glow in the inside from volunteering rather than on the outside from being hot and sweaty! Was also fun to watch rather than run (I've volunteered before but as tailwalker).

Yep. I'll be doing Oakhill park in North London. Provided I don't come down with the lurgy that partner has.

I'm not quite ready for them yet but planning to do one on 11th November in Norwich which will be my "poppy" run in aid of British Legion

I'm at Long Eaton Parkrun ready to do W8R3. Bit breezy but no doubt a good turnout for Parkrun's 13th birthday!

From your name I guess that you are in Tassie. Do you know anything about the courses around Melbourne? I am going out there next month and am looking for a nice flat course. I don't do hills!!

Hi i haven't done one in Melbourne but think they have a few. Check on parkrun.com.au

We are lucky to have one in our little town in Tassie. Start is only 5 min drive from home. It started in April this year and i do it almost everyweek...that is actually how i found this program as i wanted to learn to run properly 😊

Enjoy your visit to Melbourne 🏃🏃😎
