It's the little things...

Just finished w3r2, for some reason found it harder than last one, but just kept it going.

I love being out early, you notice all kind of things - wildlife, dog walkers etc, but I've never seen anyone else out running...

What made me smile today was during one of the 3 min runs (or the go slightly faster (or sometimes even slower) than a walk) was the sound of someone running behind me. Quite fast. Being someone who tries to avoid being seen, my initial reaction was one of panic - look at the state of me etc etc- but as he passed me this young lad just turned round and said hello - he treated me like a fellow runner!!! Put a spring in my step (for a little while anyway)...must go that route again πŸ˜†

Feels like I've had a glimpse of a lovely community of runners.

Well done you!

I love my early starts... all weathers and all seasons.. you really feel that you are a part of something enormous :)

Well done you, too, for realising that you are one of a whole load of us... and looking great... you are a runner and you should be proud of yourself:)

It is a good feeling, that first recognition from another runner. Just remember, you’re running faster than those still sat on the couch (or maybe in bed as it is still very early πŸ˜‚)

Well done.

Well done..!! Sounds like a good run, albeit tougher than the last one (I blame mornings - I, for one, am not designed to embrace mornings)..!! πŸ˜”

What a nice boost too - a hello from a passing runner goes a long way 😊

So you have reminded us that we should all greet everyone we meet on a run.............we might just make their day and vice versa.
