A laugh

β€’8 Replies

Last time I posted I was worried that I lost my legs in the last run. Picture me then, a bit nervous, 56, little arms and legs, and a generous torso. The torso is encased in some heavy duty engineering. I begin, full of trepidation that my little legs will let me down. But 5mins into the 25mins, I feel a looseness around my ribs and realise the front zip on my bra has completely unzipped! Aa aargh, should I carry on, go behind a tree, stop? I can't give up, so I decide to run on, unrestrained, with my elbows nailed to my ribs and my hands punching the air (very gently) across my body. 20mins later I'd finished. No problems at all with my legs, I even managed to speed up for the last 60secs. Distraction worked for me😁. Off to shops tomorrow.

Thanks for the laugh. I'm horrified just imagining it. So THAT's why sports bras don't always have zippers.

Ha ha ha ha ha. I've just booked a fitting at John Lewis. Hopefully I'll get something. If I fail, I'll get a very long compression bandage and an old nappy pin. I'll look like a mummy but I won't jog about. πŸ˜‚

Poor Nora :(

(sorry I did LOL....)
