I have managed to wk4 r1, and was very pleased to have managed it and survived.
I have done it all on a treadmill indoors with tv and DVD player. It suits me , are there any additional benefits to running outside instead of indoors.

Wind in your hair, sun on your face, fresh air, beautiful ever changing scenery, passersby to say hello to, birdsong, wildlife, constant mental and sensory stimulation......... the real world.
You will never run 5k on a treadmill.........only synthesise 5k. Okay, I am not a fan of treadmills, but am sure they work for some people. From the outset running for me was always going to be a glorious outdoor adventure.
Vive la difference!
Well, whatever works for you! Personally I am an outdoors kind of gal. I do love being in nature, seeing the sky as I run, dodging over enthusiastic dogs and watching squirrels gambolling. But I am fortunate to being close to a lovely park. Perversely, I also think I love the differing terrains - running on grass and occasionally the odd incline challenges me. And running in nature makes me feel like a daft kid again. 😀 You could give a try, what's to lose? Well done on running wk 4! I am right behind you...🏃♀️
How long have you got...? IannodaTruffe has listed a few benefits
Just read a few posts on here.. and if you fancy a few of my rambles.. it might give you an insight..but,for folk who wish to use the treadmill and those who have no choice, go them
You are running... that is all that matters
