Couldn't Leave It Alone!

After reading some of your advice yesterday I realised this is a head game! Made a playlist, back to my favourite time of day, slowed it a little and BOOM!!! Failed 25 yesterday but scored 30 today๐Ÿƒ Not bad for an old bird 3 stone overweight.

Week 7. Was running 5k 2 years ago but winter set in and didn't want to go out in dark and bad weather. Forgot how good you feel so determined to keep it up this time

Slow and steady is the way... we have to build up our running muscles and our stamina slowly and steadily..that is what C25K does...hopefully!

I use 5k pro which is same concept. On week 7. Should have done 25 mins but after completely failing I had something to prove this morning!

This forum is slightly different, it follows this programme and builds up to thirty minutes after nine weeks.

I used NHS app. It it kept failing. This one not that different. By end week 8 should be able to jog 30 mins. I'm adding minutes where I feel I can cope with them (not encouraged by the app) As I said should only have done 25 today but felt capable of more.

Right. It is different than, as you are add time on which is something the C25K programme does not encourage, because of injury risk for new runners:). Good luck on your journey, though :)

Yessssss! Well done ๐Ÿ˜ƒโœ”๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

It's surprising what we can do once we put our minds to it . Although I am an advocate of mindless running. Clothes on and go. Don't even think about it, just do it ๐Ÿ˜€

Running in winter is good. You get used to it very quickly. I was the world's biggest wuss and thought I would die out there. I didn't ๐Ÿ™‚
