Week 1 run 2 - done :-)

W1r2 done (is that the correct lingo?!)

Have decided that during the week I am going to try and get out before work. I'm a morning person and think I might come up with excuses not to go out after work.

Just a question about rest days. I know the program is for 3 days a week, I was thinking about doing it every other day, but Tuesday evenings I have an exercise class, which means that I can hardly walk on a Wednesday, let alone run!

So, would going out on a Saturday, Monday and Thursday be ok?

  • As long as you have at least one rest day between runs you'll be fine so your plan sounds great. And well done on the runs so far.

  • Yeah sure. You are more likely to do it if it fits in with your current arrangements πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ™‚

  • As others have said, as long as you have at least one rest day, and it works for you then go for it.

Other exercise will compliment your running: swimming, walking, cycling, yoga, etc. So rest day is a bit of a misnomer - it just means no running.
