This book was recommended to me so I downloaded it. I have just started reading it and so far I am finding it very interesting. Lots of similar advice is to be found on this forum but it is good to have it all in one place for easy reference.

Thanks for this. I need a new running book and will take a look at this one.

Quick update now that I have finished it. Interesting that the advice for starting to run is very similar to the C5K programme. Plenty of exercises (with photos) for stretching and strengthening the legs. Some quite technical information about how the body uses energy and the biochemical side of things.

I have it on my reader so I will probably read it again in a while, or at least the bits that I thought "will come on to that later"
