Slowly but surely....getting there.

Two days rest and off I went again today with Adele singing to me and Sarah Millican encouraging me for W7R2... I was worried after W7R1 at how tired and achy I was but have now realised why. After my W6R3 on Saturday walked (20mins) to family for BBQ and think it was too much after the run so felt quite low after my tearful run on Monday but..... and its a big BUT!!!! today I did it and feel great. Yes it was hard, yes I was tired at the end, no it was far from easy but it was much better than Mondays. I may do W7 a few times more before I go onto W8 and I plan to leave 2 days in between my runs now as I think I need longer to recover but I am so pleased that I can now call myself a jogger and jog for 25 minutes.....what and achievement. :D

Leaving 2 days will probably help you a lot. Lots of people add in an extra day's rest towards the end of the programme. Well done on today's run!

Yep two days of resting def can make a difference after a tricky run. No harm in repeating weeks either. Better that than pushing on too early & either not completing a run (which is like giving the gremlins in your head a megaphone!) or injuring yourself. Wk 7 is tough so sounds as though you're doing really well. You've come a long way, eh?

Hooray - you're doing really well. Runs do vary and maybe R1 was just a bad one. No harm in taking extra rest days if it helps!

Well done you!! I left two days between every run from Week 7 onwards so no harm in it at all. Ever closer to that graduation badge. :)
