Still on IC awaiting mri scan result tomorrow, but the pain in my knee left last week. Spend several days happy, then twitchy. Have not dared to do too many stretches other than Pilates hamstring nod back ones. I decided to try the rower at the weekend, very gentle and the knee exercises until yesterday, when I needed to know I could still break into a run, well slouch. I got on the treadmill and did 2 minutes, breathing and heart said yeah go for it, head stopped me and I remembered the pain didn't kick in till the evening. I waited with baited breath, even in bed for the pain- nothing. Soooo I did 5 mins rower 3 mins walk and aimed to run for 4 mins. All good so far, bottled it at 3.5 mins. Pathetic, I know serious loss of confidence. I think the result tomorrow is hanging over me.

Keep starting a post and stopping, too minor really.
Keep your chin up Hidden , you are so determined you will get back to it no problems I'm sure when your body is ready. You'll have developed strength in other muscles during your time on the IC, which I'm sure can only help your running long term too. Good luck with result tomorrow, I hope it gives you some answers at least so you can stop feeling in limbo. Let us know how you get on. Sending positive vibes your way 🍀
Thanks Feelingsilly , as you say I think its being in limbo that's the problem. No aches yet so fingers crossed.x
Oh Bamb; not pathetic at all; I think any of us would be the same; worried about doing too much in case we make things worse and end up on the IC for longer X
Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow; please let us know how you get on.
Thanks Slinkyminky will let you know. Can see other people been a lot longer on IC, but it definitely makes you cautious. Glad to see you're post grad running, even if you're still finding your way through to the best method for you👍🏻
