W7r3 done. New shoes after gait analysis are fab and not expensive. Luckily I have neutral pronation so lots of choice from Decathlon. See below.

Also treated myself to some bluetooth earphoned which drowned out the other music at the gym. All in all a great experience 👍😆

Roll on week 8. Only six runs and 2 weeks to graduation!

Cool shoes! How did you find the Decathlon gait analysis? And what exactly did they do?

I ran on the treadmill mill and they measured the angle of my pronation using a video. They also spent some time discussing my running habits etc. The shoes are their own make and have a fab gel heel and arch support. There was no pressure or hard sell and I could try as many pairs as I liked on the treadmill mill before I bought these.

Thanks for the info. I bought some great trail shoes there (Own-brand too).

The shop was deserted (except security and tills) so I just tried every different shoe on the shelves, til I found the most comfortable.

I might go back for road shoes nearer to my graduation, touch wood <taps noggin> :)

Cool shoes love the design ☺
