Hello, I'm new here and not sure if I'm posting in the right spot, but…

I've used the Stepping Stones and Speed podcasts and found the pace to work quite well for me (still afraid to try stamina). Like a lot of you, I enjoy Laura's encouragement.

However, I've heard others say the pace was too slow, so I thought I would share something I learned about the Spotify app the other day. I don't know if it's just not very well advertised, but they have a running feature that will detect your average cadence and play music with a matching BPM. You can also adjust the BPM manually on the go and select the genre of music. It's included in the free version too. Not trying to shill, but how cool is that? I'm going to give it a go after I do Stamina a few times.

Oh, I also want to say thanks to everyone in this community. Reading your stories has really kept me going!

I really don't get on very well with technology but what you describe sounds very clever and useful! I am still have trouble starting the podcast and runkeeper!

It seems pretty simple so far. Otherwise, believe me, I'd be lost!

I've heard about that, I believe RockMyRun has something similar. My phone isn't up for running apps like that, but as it seems to be on it's last legs, perhaps a new one is called for!
