Rather chuffed with myself this morning as I have managed to adapt a kitchen key / letter rack into a medal / PB board. I even have somewhere to hang my Parkrun barcode tag. Potentially it was rather ambitious to put in a half marathon space but the concept of me wanting a medal board was a bit daft 8 month ago.
After some annoying faffing with chalk I have also ordered myself a blackboard pen!!!! I think it will look nicer.
I better get myself off for a run now otherwise I won't be able to earn my bling ....................
Happy running

Well done! Looks great. I just copied Rig and got one from ebay. The race numbers keep falling down those as it a suction clip so may have to rethink that. Any races planned? So far I only have the race for life bling as most my races have been smaller local ones where it's tshirts but no bling.
Rig's board was the one that inspired this - it is rather nice I am using the letter section for keeping my numbers in.
Yes - I have races booked so hopefully bling is on it's way! I have a 5 mile trail run at the end of October and I'm doing the Movember 10k at the end of November. I've also signed up for 2 virtuals - the RBL Poppy challenge and the December 10k.
I am also 'committed' to the Wolf Run next year. I don't know if your friend showed you her t-shirt but I am rather impressed with hubby's. It is really nice. I keep hoping that one day I have one to wear with pride too
Ps: i am also doing the virtual Dec 10k so that's at least one medal - and a nice one too. Hoping that there is bling at the robin hood trail event in November too!
I am only doing the 5k as I am planning on taking my mum and kids along to watch and thought that it would be too much for them having to hang around for a 10k race, especially as the weather can be cold by then.
That is really lovely and a fab idea! Not something I have need for just yet, at W7, but who knows what the future may hold?! Hope you get some bling for it soon!😀
I never thought I would need one either. This running is fab! There are some good 'virtual runs' on the link below that might be a nice way to start your 'bling' journey
