You get good runs and bad runs.. Maybe not happy but you DID it... Don't forget that! X

You don't always hit the highs. Next time, it'll be better.

And if it's getting too hard or too sore, let yourself off the hook, be kind to yourself, ease back a bit, and wait till the moment is right to proceed.

I won't annoy you by asking you to somehow "cheer up", but I will remind you that you already know that this will pass. It's already behind you. You're not running right now, even. It's behind you, so think about maybe just leaving the bastard to rot there, and get yourself ready for a good night's sleep or something?

We've all had some stinkers, if not it would be a sign that you are a weird running machine, maybe even a Bladerunner-style replicant.

Now that really WOULD be worth getting hacked off about ;)

I ran Wk6R1 on Sunday and it was just awful - hated it and for the first I've began to doubt why I was doing this! I was really down all yesterday and dreading my next run tomorrow.

I went shopping today and had to rush a bit in order to get all of the jobs done and get back so that the dog wasn't on his own too long - I could feel the new muscles in my legs (they felt weird in my jeans) and boy could I speed walk when needed - it reminded me of how much fitter I had become and that my shape is already changing for the better! I have my running kit out already for tomorrow and, although I know that it is going to be tough, I'm damn well going to get my butt out there and run!!!!

Well done today for fighting through.....and remember that you beat the running demons, they didn't beat you!

Just back from w6 r1, hated so much of this run. But you're right. I'm fitter and my shape has changed. Got to keep going. Good runs will come again!

Found that one tough (x2 10 min runs). 5 hours later my legs still feel sore and heavy.
