I've set my sights high... and just entered next years London Marathon.

Hehe you know that red button that says don't push and you just want to push it. Already today I have found myself on the ballot page twice. I have promised everyone one that I won't do a marathon until my speed is better as training for the HM has been difficult to fit in never mind even longer runs, BUT....... Knowing my luck I would get in then have to explain.

If you're dead set on doing an April 2016 marathon, there are plenty of others around too that won't have all the stress of a ballot and waiting to hear if you've got in - such as Brighton or even Hamburg (which is the same weekend as London)

Well done on entering. I'm in too. Also, last week I entered the Brighton Marathon as well. And I have my first ultra (50K) at the end of March, so it'll be an interesting spring to say the least.

The Aussie has entered London too. I'll see you all on the Winter Run of course and I've entered Dublin Marathon in October and Brighton with Miles in April!

You do realise Miles that we may end up running a marathon a week if we get London too?

I decided to donate my entry fee to London; the training top looks nice, plus the extra 1,000 place ballot may prove handy. Got my eye on that prize draw for the NY marathon too. 😆

We did that for the London winter 10k Run in Feb this year, it was great to meet up with quite a few c25kers, and more next year!

As Ali said below, a number of us met up for the London Winter Run in February; it was a blast. There's a few of us already signed-up to next year's race so I imagine there will be an even bigger meet-up next year.

I was only wondering how you were getting on while out on my run today. An ultra that's fantastic, please keep us informed when you have the time. Looking forward to meeting up on 31 January for the winter run. They should open for entrants again soon. Happy running.
